Backups are an essential part of your network, but can often be overlooked or neglected. Your bundle takes care of that with Chestnut Managed Backup. It combines onsite and offsite secure backups of your servers and data, scaled to your individual requirements, all remotely managed and controlled by us. Offsite data is stored in the cloud, within the UK, and fully encrypted.

We deploy remote management software to all schools that use our services. This software helps us to manage issues effectively and swiftly. It also gives us a clear understanding of how your devices are being used without needing to visit in person.

Knowing that you have a technician visiting your school regularly will give your teachers the confidence to use IT across the curriculum, as well as keep on top of day to day issues. Our technicians visit for a full morning or afternoon weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Your technology partner can be used not only to solve your IT problems, but also to work with you to build a more productive IT environment, to allow effective teaching, learning and administration across the school.

Our School Websites are designed to reflect the distinct ethos of your school, whilst ensuring that all users - parents, staff, children, governors and Ofsted inspectors - can find what they want easily. We also provide essential training for the staff who will be maintaining the site from day to day.

Having the ability to talk to someone directly and quickly about your pressing technical issues or concerns is paramount to the operation of your school. All schools with a Chestnut service agreement have access to our local helpdesk. It is available to you from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, via phone or email to support you with any aspect of the services we provide.

Call-out tokens are available to make it easier to call on our services at shorter-than-normal notice. COTs are provided as part of our support plans and can be purchased separately as required.
